Helios Capital Partners, Inc. is hiring a part-time Origination Partner to drive sales by originating. The primary responsibility of this position is to grow a network of mortgage brokers, realtors, developers, real estate investors, and borrowers from which to develop a consistent stream of loan originations. Much of the Origination Partner’s time will be spent in the field, cultivating and maintaining these relationships. The Origination Partner will actively seek out new sales opportunities via internal and external efforts, such as phone calls, networking events, office visits, meetings, etc.
Essential Functions:
•Make initial contact with mortgage brokers, realtors, developers, real estate investors, and borrowers to determine needs and qualifications
•Drive sales, working with Sales and Marketing Team to identify all potential business sources and meet loan volume goals
•Build new and strengthen existing relationships with mortgage brokers, realtors, developers, real estate investors, and borrowers
•Work directly with investors and/or borrowers to obtain initial documentation sufficient for submission to loan processing
•Direct the mortgage broker approval process, providing all forms required to recommend approval
•Provide approved mortgage brokers with current rate sheets and underwriting guidelines; and educate brokers as to pricing/program requirements, submission/documentation requirements, and approval criteria
•Prequalify loan packages, when required
•Monitor pipeline reports determining the status of all loans in the assigned territory
•Provide sales and technical training/support to mortgage brokers concerning Helios Capital Partners’ products and processes
Qualifications:
•Experience in sales, lending, banking, real estate, and/or related field (previous experience as a loan officer or private lender is a plus)
•State-required and/or NMLS license(s), if applicable
•Experience with CRM software, Excel, and Google Workspace
Competencies:
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, resulting in exceptional rapport with people; proven success in initiating, promoting, and maintaining strong interpersonal relations
•Confident, articulate, professional (including via phone) to effectively engage with clients
